I recently tried a new brand of cleanser – Vecirin Daily Gentle Cleanser. I got a sample from my loot bag from the Mommy Milkshare event last September 5, 2015 at The Parenting Emporium. Before I tried using it on Kobe, I had to try it on myself first! I used it as a facial cleanser/face wash before going to bed. It was very mild and gentle to my skin – the texture is gel-like, clear, unscented, not soapy at all, yet I could feel it getting the oil and grime off my skin. I didn’t put on moisturizer that night to test if it will make my skin dry. It didn’t! 🙂

I also used it on Kobe as a body wash, and it is perfect for his baby skin because it gently cleans yet it also removes dirt. So I was able to clean Kobe’s underarms, neck, toes, groin area, and all the nooks and crannies that usually get dirty. Anyway, newborns don’t get really really dirty so mild cleansers are perfect for them and their sensitive skin. 🙂 What I like about it is it is not as “slippery” as other gentle cleansers, so it is very easy to rinse off. As most mommies know, it could be hard (and even terrifying at times!) to bathe a squirming baby. So the less slippery the baby wash is, the easier it is for us!
